Sean Hamann

Bio

Mr. Hamann is licensed in the State of Illinois, as well as the Northern District of Illinois, focusing on appellate and commercial litigation. Mr. Hamann is also a SAP licensed negotiator in the United States District Court and in the Northern District of Illinois. He has drafted appellate briefs in the First and Second Districts of Illinois, as well as Seventh Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. He has represented clients in corporate issues from formation through dissolution, contractual, commercial creditor’s and consumer debtor’s rights and privacy rights litigation. He was previously named a Hull Partners Fellow.

Mr. Hamann graduated with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Management from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington.

Mr. Hamann graduated cum laude from The John Marshall Law School, earning dual advanced certifications in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Trial Advocacy. While in law school, Mr. Hamann served as an extern to the Honorable Ronald F. Bartkowicz; litigated numerous criminal cases as a Rule 711 licensed law clerk in the Cook County Public Defender’s Office: Felony Trial Division; and finished as a National Semi-Finalist in the Andrews-Kurth Moot Court National Championships.

Mr. Hamann is also a member of the Chicago Bar Association.

When not working, Mr. Hamann enjoys volunteering, attending concerts, and cheering on Chicago sports teams.
